It’s great to see that my feature ‘Lockdown Loved Ones’ for the Fleming Collection, based on their holdings of modern Scottish art, has been published.
Living under lockdown has meant that we are spending more time than usual with our loved ones at home, but are only just beginning to be able to see those further away after months spent apart.
I chose four works in the Fleming Collection, looking at partners, children, cousins and even a daughter-in-law, by Cecile Walton (1891-1956), J. D. Fergusson (1874-1961), William Oliphant Hutchison (1889-1970) and Anne Redpath (1895-1965).
