I am looking forward to being on the Hugo Burge Foundation’s Creative Individual Awards panel this summer. The Foundation was established by the late internet entrepreneur, collector and philanthropist Hugo Burge in 2022. Hugo was passionate about art and its transformative power. The Foundation’s mission is to to support and inspire creativity across the UK.

The Creative Individuals awards are designed to support emerging and established creatives across all disciplines. The scheme aims to enable individuals to pursue new skills and ideas, deepen their practice and bring inspiring projects to life, embark on creative journeys and take meaningful career next steps. I look forward to being impressed and excited by the applications.

You can visit the Hugo Burge Foundation in its creative spaces in the Scottish Borders by joining in its lively events programme. In July and August 2025 alone they are holding Summer Evening Garden Tours, a Pressed Flower and Craft Workshop and Walled Gardens and Glasshouses Open Days, amongst other activities.
