I am excited to have been appointed a founding Trustee of the Lund Humphries Foundation for Visual Arts. It is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) founded by Scolar Fine Art Ltd, the company which owns the renowned Lund Humphries publishing imprint.

To advance education in the visual arts
The mission of the Lund Humphries Foundation for Visual Arts is to encourage and advance knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts by the general public, and to support research and academic study of the history and contemporary practice of fine art, architecture and design. What could be better?!
My fellow Trustees are the publisher Imogen Abed, the author Catherine Manning (who writes under the name Elizabeth Ironside), Lund Humphries’ Managing Director Lucy Myers and Alan Short of the University of Cambridge’s Department of Architecture and Clare Hall.

A Lund Humphries author
Having admired Lund Humphries’ esteemed role in the history of visual arts publishing, I was delighted to become one of their authors when I contributed the essay ‘Into the Vortex: The Glacier in Wilhelmina Barns-Graham’s Work’ to their 2024 title Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: The Glaciers, edited by Rob Airey. I look forward to making the mission of the Lund Humphries Foundation for Visual Arts a reality.
